Sheya Shuushona Conservancy
This Communal Conservancy borders the northern side of the world’s famous Etosha National Park. The Sheya Shuushona Community with strong, colourful traditions, are endowed with a rich culture of traditional folklore and food. The famous “Wambo chicken” cooked in Amarula oil, or Mopane worms (fried caterpillar) are a local favourite.
Scenic beauty: The lodge skirts the edge of a vast salt pan, which changes colours with the seasons, from snow white to pink to turquoise.
Wildlife: The proximity to Etosha offers some of the best game viewing in Namibia. During the rainy season when the pans fill up, flamingos, storks and cranes flock here to breed.
